Halogen lamp (500W) was recalled on 27 April 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0368/07. Electric shock risk reported by France. This product poses a risk of electric shock because:– during the tests, the traction stop becomes damaged and the thread of the cap wears away completely following these tests;– the metal casing and connection housing for the lamp do not resist a shock of 0.

Risk Description
This product poses a risk of electric shock because:– during the tests, the traction stop becomes damaged and the thread of the cap wears away completely following these tests;– the metal casing and connection housing for the lamp do not resist a shock of 0.35J;- the product does not pass the 1460V dielectric strength test (damage was observed near the socket conductors).This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards.
