Halogen heater was recalled on 21 September 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0949/07. Electric shock risk reported by Hungary. This product poses a risk of electric shock because the earth protection on the front part is not appropriate (the screws connecting metal parts are not secured against loosening, the resistance is higher than required by the standard) and the basic insulated wires contact metal parts that are not supplied with earthing.

Risk Description
This product poses a risk of electric shock because the earth protection on the front part is not appropriate (the screws connecting metal parts are not secured against loosening, the resistance is higher than required by the standard) and the basic insulated wires contact metal parts that are not supplied with earthing. The heater has white plastic cover, on the front the heating elements are covered with metal grids. Main parts of the luminaire: mains cable (YA TAI WIRE INDUSTRY Co., LTD., H05VV-F 3G0.75mm2, VDE); mains plug (Y003, 250V, 16A, +marks of approval); speed switch (JINHE Electrics, 25T125, PA66, 250VAC, 15A, + marks of approval); safety switch (KW3-0Z, 16A, 250VAC, CQC VDE, CE). Technical parameters: 230V; 50 Hz; 800W; Class I.
