Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cross-section area of the cord is too small (0.3 mm²), - the dimensions of the plug are non-compliant, live parts are accessible during abnormal use; and a risk of fire and burns because the product caught fire in the test for abnormal use. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Product Description
The hairdryer is made of plastic, with a power switch on the grip. There is no built-in thermal switch or any heat protection. Main parts of the appliance: plug "CE"; mains cable: "RVV 300/300V 2x0.3mm² GB5023.3-97"; built-in switch "JINXING CQC JX95-01 3A250V". Technical specifications: 220 V, 50 Hz, 450-1000 W, Class II. The product was supplied at product shows as a gift.
