Risk Description
Internal wires can become detached and touch the metal plate, exposing the user to electric shock. Moreover, if the power cable touches the hot plate, it may be damaged and pose an electrical hazard. Furthermore, the insulation between the live components and the metal plate is insufficient, increasing the risk of electric shock. Additionally, a decorative part of the hair straightener (the screw cover) can easily be detached and could be swallowed by a child. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
