Hair dryer was recalled on 20 April 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0349/07. Burns, Electric shock risk reported by Romania. This product poses a risk of burns and electric shock because:- the appliance does not comply with the requirements of the shock-protection Class II;- when the product blows warm air, the active part (filament connection) can be contacted with a short touching needle through the metal bars; - during use the plastic cover overheats and thus can cause serious burns.
