Risk Description
The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- there is no cord anchorage, protecting against pulling and twisting force, - the cross section area of the core is less than required (0,1 mm2), - the dimensions of the plug significantly differ from the standard values.This product poses a serious risk of fire since contrary to the statement of the instructions for use: “the appliance automatically stops when the exhaust outlet is blocked”, there is no thermal switch built into the hair dryer. Consequently, the appliance emitted smoke, the housing became deformed and flames appeared during the test of abnormal operation. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard 60335.
