Hair dryer was recalled on 8 December 2006 under EU Safety Gate alert 0804/06. Electric shock risk reported by Czechia. This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because during the abnormal operational test the flames were emitted from the product and the temperature rise of the floor of the test corner exceeded the required level.

Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because during the abnormal operational test the flames were emitted from the product and the temperature rise of the floor of the test corner exceeded the required level. The product failed to meet the electric strength test.The product is not delivered with instructions for use in the Czech language. These products do not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the LVD standard.
