Risk Description

The suction cups can be easily detached. If a child puts the projectile in the mouth, the suction cup could detach and obstruct the airways. Moreover the suction cup contains bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: up to 6.1%), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value: up 12% by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Plastic toy gun set which consists of 2 smaller and 1 larger black plastic toy pistols, 2 types (3 + 5 pieces) suction cup projectiles, a plastic badge, a compass, a grenade and glasses.

Recommended action

Chemical: Stop using the product immediately. Wash any skin that has come into contact with it. Keep it away from children. Return it to the retailer for a refund if possible. Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Who is at risk?

Anyone who has used this product, especially children, pregnant women, and people with sensitive skin. Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
