Risk Description

Some vehicles with dual-pinion electric power steering may lose steering assistance due to a gearbox bearing failure and EPS software calibration defect. This could cause the steering to lock, preventing the driver from turning the wheel and increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
