Glass oil lamp was recalled on 21 October 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 1163/11. Chemical risk reported by Denmark. The product poses a chemical risk because it can easily overturn both with and without oil, there is no wick guard on the lamp, the cap could be easily opened, and small children may drink the oil.

Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it can easily overturn both with and without oil, there is no wick guard on the lamp, the cap could be easily opened, and small children may drink the oil.The product does not comply with the relevant standard EN 14059.
Product Description
Oil lamp in shape of a slim bottle of glass oil lamp with plant materials and oil. Intended to be opened with a corkscrew and then mounted with one of two delivered wicks with burner/filling caps. The wicks were attached to the bottle neck. Height 350 mm.
