Risk Description
The plastic material of the product contains an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values up to 19% by weight) and cadmium (measured values up to 460 mg/kg). This phthalate may harm the health of children by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. Moreover, cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
