Risk Description

The product poses a serious risk of strangulation and injuries because of the presence of functional cords and knots in the neck area and in the waist area of the bikini. The product does not comply with the safety requirements of the relevant standard EN 14682.

Product Description

Horizontal-striped two-piece girl's swimwear in different colours (blue, yellow, pink, peach). The top of the bikini can be tied with elastic cords in the neck area. The bottom of the bikini can be tied with elastic cords in the waist area. The cords have knotted ends. Size: 110-134

Recommended action

Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.

Who is at risk?

All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
