Gas barbecue was recalled on 22 April 2016 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0482/16. Fire risk reported by Italy. In specific circumstances, a process of galvanic oxidation could be triggered, which could create a small hole in the fuel pipe of one of the burners, resulting in a gas leak.

Risk Description
In specific circumstances, a process of galvanic oxidation could be triggered, which could create a small hole in the fuel pipe of one of the burners, resulting in a gas leak. Given that the hole is always downstream of the burner's gas tap, the risk is not present when the appliance is not being used.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Gas Appliances Directive and the relevant European standards EN 498, EN 30-1-1 and EN 437.
