Risk Description
The product poses a serious risk of scalding because leaks may occur from the neck and/or base whilst the hot bottle is in use. In particular, the following non-compliances with the relevant British standard occurred during the testing:- the stopper separates from the ferrule at 370N and 350N respectively in less than 5 minutes where as the requirement is 500N; - the strength of bonded or welded seams does not reach the required tensile force of 72N.
