The cords to be tied around the neck may become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to injuries and/or strangulation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the relevant European standard EN 14682.

About this risk

Recommended action

Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund. Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.

Who is at risk?

All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
