Flute "Zabawka muzyczna" was recalled on 17 August 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0842/07. Choking risk reported by Slovakia. This toy poses a serious risk of choking because during testing the mouth-piece and the lamella detached when a force of respectively 15 N and 5 N was applied.

Risk Description

This toy poses a serious risk of choking because during testing the mouth-piece and the lamella detached when a force of respectively 15 N and 5 N was applied. Both parts fit entirely into the small parts cylinder. Children may put small parts into their mouth and choke.This product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

The whistle is made from PVC. A mouth-piece and a lamella are removable. The toy is packed in a plastic transparent bag with a colour tag with notices: TOYS, Made in China, warning in Polish language.
