Risk Description

It is possible that when the front spring/shock absorber assemblies were installed the bolts securing the lower ball joint and/or the cross-members were tightened with insufficient torque. The securing bolts of the lower ball joint and/or the cross-members may become loose and fall out. If both bolts on one side fall out, the lower ball joint will detach from the steering knuckle and/or the cross-member from the sub-frame, causing a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of an accident.
