Risk Description
The total filtration capacity of the mask is insufficient (measured values as low as 90.7%). Consequently, the product does not fulfil the health and safety requirements. Thus, even if combined with other recommended measures, it may not properly protect. Moreover, the physical resistance of the filtering material is too high (measured values up to 3.2 mbar) and prevents a user to breathe properly, creating a risk for the user to suffocate. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation nor with European standard EN 149.
