Feuerwand –Gold (wall-of-fire) was recalled on 28 December 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/1959/12. Burns risk reported by Germany. The product poses a risk of burns because the labelling requirement for net explosive quantity is indicated only for the individual shot (40g) and not for the cake or battery as a whole (360g);- the safety packaging does not comply with the legislation; - a spontaneously combustible igniter cord may be exposed inside the product.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of burns because the labelling requirement for net explosive quantity is indicated only for the individual shot (40g) and not for the cake or battery as a whole (360g);- the safety packaging does not comply with the legislation; - a spontaneously combustible igniter cord may be exposed inside the product.This could lead to premature spontaneous ignition hazardous to consumers.The product does not comply with the Directive 2007/23/EC on pyrotechnic articles and the relevant European standard EN 15947
