Risk Description

The product poses a chemical risk because the teat on the feeding bottle contains 32.2% by weight of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), which is banned in childcare articles by the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EC. Phthalates may cause harm to the unborn child and a possible risk of impaired fertility. Phthalates have a negative effect on the development of reproductive organs.

Product Description

Baby´s feeding kit containing two plastic feeding bottles, two bottle brushes and hygienic sticks in a small plastic bag. The capacity of the larger bottle is 240ml/8oz and the smaller bottle is 120ml/4oz. The bigger bottle has a white locking ring and green protective cover; the smaller bottle has a white plastic ring and yellow protective cover. Both bottles have a feeding teat made of soft PVC. The feeding kit is packed in a transparent plastic bag. On the label are inscriptions: BABY PLASTIC BOTTLE & NIPPLE, materiales non toxicos, XJ(I)ER KANG .
