Extension cord was recalled on 19 December 2025 under EU Safety Gate alert SR/04366/25. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. Due to the incorrect design of the products, the plug of a class I appliance can be inserted into the socket of an extension cord intended for class II appliances.

Risk Description

Due to the incorrect design of the products, the plug of a class I appliance can be inserted into the socket of an extension cord intended for class II appliances. This could cause a risk of electric shock to the user. The products do not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60884-1 and EN 60884-2-7.
