Expanding toy was recalled on 17 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1162/08. Choking risk reported by Poland. The product poses a risk of choking because after 72 hours in water the toy expands in different dimensions: 97% - 151% (maximum permitted by the standard is 50%).

Product Description
A toy egg containing a turtle. Dimensions of the egg are approximately 59 x 46 mm. Inside the egg is a turtle made of hard plastic coloured yellow and red. Supplied with the toys are tags with a CE mark, pictogram concerning age 0-3 restriction and warnings: “Do not swallow”, “Product children below 36 months old”, “Use only under supervision of an adult”, “Store out of reach of children below 3 years”, “Small parts - risk of choking”, “The packaging is not a toy”, “Please keep the packaging for further reference”.
