Risk Description
The product poses a risk of choking as, due to the characteristic form, appearance, colour and size, the sets’ eraser may be mistaken for a foodstuff (ice-cream stick). This may lead children to put it in their mouths, bite it into pieces and swallow it, which could entail the risk of asphyxia or obstruction of the digestive tract.

Product Description
Erasers sold in stationery sets. Each one consists of two pencils, a ruler, a sharpener, a notebook and an eraser in the shape of an ice-cream stick (approximate dimensions: 6cm x 3.5cm x 0.8cm). All the items (except the eraser) are multicoloured and decorated with pictures of dolls or other figures of girls. The sets are packed in plastic (PVC) handbags (approximate dimensions: 20cm x 13cm x 1.5cm). The handbags bear a label with the address of the importer in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria and the warning: “ATTENTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years. It contains small parts that can be swallowed” (written in Greek and Bulgarian). None of the sets’ items can be bought separately.
