The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because there is not sufficient insulation between the live parts of the lamp cap and the body of the lamp made of metallised plastic which is touched when the lamp is replaced.

Risk Description

The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because there is not sufficient insulation between the live parts of the lamp cap and the body of the lamp made of metallised plastic which is touched when the lamp is replaced. During the electric strength test between live parts of the lamp-socket and the body (metallised plastic), a breakdown occurred at about 300V, the minimum requirement is 4000V.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive.
