Energy saving desk lamp was recalled on 22 December 2006 under EU Safety Gate alert 0854/06. Electric shock, Fire, Injuries risk reported by Hungary. This product poses a serious risk of <u>electric shock</u> because:- the insulation of the internal wiring can get damaged since the wires are not fixed;- the contacts of the lamp holder are accessible during the replacement of the light source;- there is no cord anchorage applied protecting the wires against pulling and twisting force.

Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of <u>electric shock</u> because:- the insulation of the internal wiring can get damaged since the wires are not fixed;- the contacts of the lamp holder are accessible during the replacement of the light source;- there is no cord anchorage applied protecting the wires against pulling and twisting force. This product poses a serious risk of <u>fire</u> because the internal wiring can overheat.This product poses a serious risk of injuries because the luminaire tipped over on a slope of 6 °. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the LVD standards.
