Risk Description
The product has an excessive concentration of cobalt and arsenic (measured values up to 0.91 mg/kg and 0.99 mg/kg by weight, respectively). Cobalt is a skin and respiratory sensitiser and may cause cancer. Arsenic may cause cancer, may damage fertility or the unborn child, causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Moreover, the label of the product fails to inform of the presence of nickel and the preservatives methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone. Consumers are therefore not warned that they may have allergic reactions or suffer from skin sensitisation. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation nor with the Regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).
