Risk Description
The product is improperly designed, the electrical insulation is inadequate and the clearance /creepage distances between the primary and accessible secondary circuits are not sufficient, and live parts are accessible on the socket outlet. Furthermore, the product is recommended for outdoor use but the plug of the light string is not protected against splashing or leaking water. The user could consequently touch live parts and receive an electric shock from them. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor the European standards EN 60432-1, EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20.
