Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because the travel adaptor supplied does not have correctly sized pins, does not have a fuse fitted, and is not fitted with shutters to screen the socket contacts.In addition, the product poses a health risk: specifically the risk of consumers and particularly children having skin contact or swallowing nicotine soaked cartridges. The declarations on the product claim that the nicotine content is ‘Super High’, but risk phrases and tactile warnings are absent. In addition to this, the product does not bear any specific warnings about the dangers posed to users, maximum dosage, or any information about the potential danger to children from using the product.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant national standard BS 1363.
