Risk Description
During abnormal operation, the thermal fuse fails to operate in time, allowing generation of excessive heat at the plastic base. This can lead to a fire and can leave live wires exposed. In the event that the product is operated beyond a certain time, the pot could overflow when it is lifted from the base. There is consequently a risk that the user may be scalded.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Product Description
The product consists of two parts. The first part is a metallic, cover-less coffee pot with a handle on the side.The second part is a metallic base with a mains lead on the side. The product comes in coloured cardboard packaging.
