Electric terrace awning - Sunea CSI RTS was recalled on 29 October 2010 under EU Safety Gate alert 1586/10. Electric shock risk reported by France. The product poses a risk of electric shock for anyone coming into contact with a metallic part of the awning under the following circumstances:- the handle of the integrated emergency control for the motor has been used, - use of the handle has caused the swivel connector to jam, - the jammed swivel connector has caused the hood of the electronic chassis inside the motor to open, - the opening of the chassis hood has led to the chassis support breaking due to the strain increment, - the connection wires of the electrical power cable have been pulled out following the rotation, - one of the two power cables is disconnected and the other has just touched a metallic part of the motor (crankcase),- the earthing cable is completely disconnected.

Risk Description
