Risk Description
The insulation can break down during normal use. If the user touches the metal part of the casing whilst the item is switched on and the insulation fails, the user could receive an electric shock.Moreover, the dimensions of the sleeved parts of the product plug's pins differed from the metal parts of the pins. This results in a distinct step between the two and may cause damage to the socket and undue wear and tear to the sleeve, leading to overheating with the risk of fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
