Risk Description

The accessible metal housing of the kettle is only separated from the active heating element by basic insulation. The mains lead does not contain a protective conductor.In the event of a failure in the basic insulation, the metal part of the kettle may become live and the user may receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60335.
