Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because:·         A live wire may come into contact with the metallic heated plate and melt.·         Sharp edges can be found within the appliance, which could cause damage to the internal wiring. ·         The earth terminal is not adequately secured and could come loose. ·         The back plastic plate does not have sufficient resistance to ignition.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Recommended action

Electric shock: Unplug the product immediately and do not use it. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact the manufacturer or retailer for a recall remedy.

All users. Children and elderly people are particularly vulnerable to burn injuries. Anyone using the product, especially in wet environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.
