Electric heater "Ceramic Heater" was recalled on 3 June 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 0495/11. Burns, Fire risk reported by Cyprus. The product poses a risk of fire and burns because:- the appliance can easily overturn (at an angle of 13°);- walls that are in proximity can overheat;- The fireguard openings are too large;- The plastic base is not sufficiently resistance to heat and fire.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of fire and burns because:- the appliance can easily overturn (at an angle of 13°);- walls that are in proximity can overheat;- The fireguard openings are too large;- The plastic base is not sufficiently resistance to heat and fire.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
