Elastic luggage strap was recalled on 26 February 2016 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0214/16. Injuries risk reported by The Netherlands. The straps easily pull out of the hook mountings when under tension, causing the elasticated straps to recoil and hit the user or causing a fixed load to fall, leading to injuries and accidents.

Risk Description
