Risk Description
The earrings release an excessive amount of nickel (measured values: up to 14.61 µg/cm²/week) and contain an excessive amount of lead (measured values: up to 64.6%). Nickel is highly sensitising and may lead to allergic reactions through skin contact. Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may also affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
