Risk Description
During its deployment, the passenger airbag may tear due to the facial airbag deployment door panel not being sufficiently weakened. A torn airbag may reduce the occupant protection, increase risk of injuries in the event of an accident.Moreover, a torn airbag could release hot gases, causing burns to occupants. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
