Risk Description

An incorrect wiring harness configuration to the restraints control module (RCM) links the wrong seat belt buckle.As a result, the driver's seat belt pre-tensioner may not operate in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
