Dummies made of latex rubber was recalled on 30 March 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0299/07. Choking risk reported by Italy. This product poses a serious risk of choking because the teat can detach from the base of the dummy in cases where the rubber had undergone accelerated deterioration as a result of exposure to sources of heat or ultraviolet light.

Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of choking because the teat can detach from the base of the dummy in cases where the rubber had undergone accelerated deterioration as a result of exposure to sources of heat or ultraviolet light.A small number of customer complaints has been registered and one incident has been reported where the baby was admitted to hospital but is now well.
