Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains up to 10.07 % by weight of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). There is a risk that phthalates may come into contact with the child’s mouth and/or skin.According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
