Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the material used for the purple shoes contains 15.6 % by weight of the di(2 ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). The material used for the white shoes contains 3.7 % by weight of the di(2 ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
