Risk Description

The product poses a chemical risk because the shoes contain phthalates which exceed the permissible levels: - Shoes with lilac heels: DEHP: 0.58% (m/m) and DINP: 0.82% (m/m) - Shoes with transparent pink heels: DEHP: 3.48% (m/m) and DINP: 0.76% (m/m) - Shoes with deep pink heels: DEHP:1.12% (m/m) and DINP: 1.28% (m/m)According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children
