Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the fibrous material of the doll's hair contains 770 mg/kg of 4-aminoazobenzene. The 'hair' of the doll was manufactured using banned azodyes, which, by breaking down into one or more azo groups, can form one of the carcinogenic amines. The product does not comply with the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC.
