Risk Description
The plastic material of the toy contains bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 19.8% by weight) and dibutyl-phthalate (DBP) (measured value: 0.228% by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. It also contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value: 4.7 % by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP and DBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles while the phthalate DINP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
