The rivets connecting the attachment’s central support and the metal teeth could break. The teeth could be ejected at full speed whilst the brush cutter is in operation and cause serious injury to the user and any bystanders. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive nor with the Commission Decision 2012/32/EU prohibiting the placing on the market of flail-type cutting attachments for portable hand-held brush cutters.
