“Dekor Candles” was recalled on 20 October 2006 under EU Safety Gate alert 0660/06. Burns, Fire risk reported by Greece. The product poses a risk of burns and fire because during combustion of the candle, the dried flowers incorporated in the candle catch fire and a particularly powerful flame reaches a height of approximately 10cm, resulting in a total destruction of the candle.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of burns and fire because during combustion of the candle, the dried flowers incorporated in the candle catch fire and a particularly powerful flame reaches a height of approximately 10cm, resulting in a total destruction of the candle. Given the flame intensity, it is likely that burns may be caused. Under certain conditions, a fire can also be generated in closed spaces due to the powerful flame.
