Dehumidifier was recalled on 22 December 2006 under EU Safety Gate alert 0850/06. Fire risk reported by Germany. In seven cases, the IFS (Damage Prevention and Damage Research Institute) has found the air conditioning appliance to be a cause of fire damage.

Risk Description
In seven cases, the IFS (Damage Prevention and Damage Research Institute) has found the air conditioning appliance to be a cause of fire damage. The fire originated in faulty insulation in the cable harness of the fan motor.So far seven cases of fire damage and one case of other damage have been reported.
