Decorative candles was recalled on 8 April 2022 under EU Safety Gate alert INFO/00079/22. Choking risk reported by Bulgaria. Due to their characteristic appearance, form, colour and size, the product may be mistaken for foodstuff.

Risk Description
Due to their characteristic appearance, form, colour and size, the product may be mistaken for foodstuff. The product has small parts (the decorative parts on top) that can be easily detached. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke on it. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Food Imitating Directive nor with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive.
