If the flower-shaped ornament and the ribbon are not removed before the candle is lit, these ornaments can catch fire, causing burns to the user and possibly starting a fire.

Green candle on a black plastic base. Around the candle there is a ribbon with a blue flower-shaped ornament. The candle is packaged in transparent plastic, sealed with a ribbon to which a cardboard label is attached.
