Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because: - the internal wiring of the pre-lit branch appears to have only single insulation; - a supplementary layer to provide double insulation is missing; - accessible metal parts: The single (basic) insulated wiring is in contact with the metal branches. Tips of some of the branches are accessible where the wrapping has not sufficiently covered the ends; - one of the submitted samples had burst into flame whilst in normal operation.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
